Cross is seeking a Plant General Manager at our Hays location.
Job Responsibilities:
The Plant General Manager is responsible for the direction, planning, and execution of operations at the manufacturing facility. This position is accountable for ensuring that key plant objectives are achieved, including plant profitability, by overseeing excellence in daily operational performance where production schedules are met within established quality specifications and safety and environmental requirements.
Requirements:
A successful candidate has a proven record in production operations management, success with Lean manufacturing, and employee engagement. They have excellent communication skills, are detail-minded, and work well as a team leader.
Desired Qualifications:
- 7+ years of manufacturing experience, including management and supervisory responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, management or similar preferred
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP integrated manufacturing systems
- Effective time management and a sense of urgency
- Farm, agriculture, hydraulic or equivalent related knowledge is a plus
