Cross Manufacturing, Inc. Celebrates 75 Years

After seeing the use of hydraulics while serving in WWII, James H. Cross returned home with the vision to harness that same power to do the heavy lifting on the farm.  Since that first tie-rod cylinder developed in a Kansas barn, Cross has expanded its product line over the decades to include welded cylinders, position sensing cylinders, directional control valves, relief valves, selector valves, custom fittings/adapters, and gear pumps and motors.

Jim’s dream of making a difference in the world continues today as Cross caters to a global market with a strong commitment to quality, adaptability, and exceptional customer service.
