All BA, BC, CA, CD and SS valves are stamped in one of the shaded areas shown. SS valves are stamped with final assembly number and date code on each section and relief plate if present.
All SD and VS4 valves without solenoids or pilot end caps are stamped in the shaded area on milled end of casting. (Stamped outside of 1.63 diameter from center of spool bore as shown.)
All valves with solenoids or pilot end caps are stamped in shaded area on either the side or top of the end cap or the solenoid block.
All VS2, AD, Sequence and DCV valves are stamped with the last four digits of the valve stock number. VS2 valves are stamped on the machined surface between ports “A” and “B.”
AD (SA) valves are stamped on the load check plugs. Sequence valves are stamped on the spool end SAE plugs. DCV valves are stamped on the flat part of cartridge hex. Flow Divider valves are stamped on spool end SAE plugs.
DV2 valves are stamped on the machined surface directly below “IN” port lettering.
Relief cartridges are stamped with the pressure setting (for example: 2000) and the GPM at which they were set (for RD relief example: 10) on the flat part of the hex.
